Technology
“You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
I am so thrilled to be teaching computers here at Queen’s School! I grew up in Jackson and attended Queen’s, JCMS, and Lumen Christi, and then continued on to Saint Mary’s College. In 2009 I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Communicative Disorders. In 2016 I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Technology at MSU.
Purposefully integrating technology into the classroom has grown to be a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with other educators. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a teacher, and after loving my own experience at Queen’s it was my hope to be able to return there as a teacher someday. That day came very quickly as I began teaching at Queen’s in 2010. I spent six years teaching sixth grade before moving into my current role as computer teacher and technology specialist. Prior to teaching at Queen’s, I spent a year teaching first grade at Saint Mary’s School.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, crafting, going for walks, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on Notre Dame and Michigan State during their football seasons! I love teaching at Queen’s because we have a fabulous staff, terrific families, and a wonderful parish community.
